I have read many posts but can't find one that focuses on this.
When I turn on the fan it ticks. The higher the setting the faster the ticking. I haven't had time to get down there and look at it yet. I thought I would post this in the meantime.

The temperature settings work and so does the different speed settings. Has anyone experienced this before?

Thanks!

Ken

Yeah, I had this once, there was a nest of "small animals" in there.

I have the same problem but it happens sporaticly. When it happens I am unable to see where it is coming from. Everything works fine I just get a noise every now and then. If I turn the A/C of it goes away.

I've got it to, happens off and on, I've got bigger stuff to worry about now but if you figure out whats causing it let us know.

I just think of it as my Rover singing to me or sending subliminal messages " Time to go fishing, Time to go fishing"

Oh, I wasn't knocking your concern with it. It annoys the living hell out of me too, I'm just really swamped with stuff around here.

try sparying inside the vents with an air compressor. maybe you'll block out whatever is making the sound.

every year i get seeds and shit down in mine.

Mine is not inside the vents. It sounds like a fan blade is hitting something. I dont know what it is.

Mine sounds just like Charles. Fan blade or something. I'll try to get to it this weekend.
That's a good idea though Rob, may give it a shot too.

Carter, You are right there! I thought you were referring to the list of things on the Rover that take precedence.

That's my case, along with the honey-do list. Hey if you can knock out the small stuff it does help to shorten the list. Of course not all is mandatory. Need to get those new springs and shocks soon!

Ken

Check your cats. My cats were broken. Had them replaced today only $140.00. I dont know if this was the cause time will tell.
