Yesterday I put on 4 new sets of brake pads and 2 new rotors on the front. Result, ABS quit working and brake pedal went to the floor. Today, bleed entire system again, twice. Result, ABS is now working again, however my pedal still goes almost to the floor. Vehicle stops but the pedal is really weak. Sounds like a bad master cylinder, but its less than a year old and how could a master cylinder go out during a break job? Anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks. |

I would keep bleeding.. how much fluid did you bleed out the first few times.. it is not uncommon to bleed all 4 sides and go thru 1-2 quarts of brake fluid.. are you sure the brake bleeders are closing completely? its worth the investment to replace them all and flush the system.. chances are the rear system is where you have some air.. the front lines will practically gravity self bleed.. Good luck |

Thanks for the advice. I ran out of time and patience, took it to the shop. I do think it is just a bleeding issue. |
