While driving home from last weekends wheelin trip I noticed my alignment was slightly off. It pulls a little to the left. To keep the disco straight I have to keep the wheel turned slightly to the right.
I took it to an alignment shop a couple of days ago. The printout shows the front to be right on. The only thing wrong is the back end tires, which are misaligned.
I have had a bent passenger side rear trailing link ever since I got the truck. When I bought it the alignment was off so I got it aligned and fixed it. I left the rear link bent.
My question is, why is my alignment off now? Did I bend something even more while wheelin? I didnt notice anything else while under the truck. That link was always bent and it was ok before. Will fixing the link fix the alignment? If so, how do I straigten it? By the way this is a 98 DI
Thanks guys, Dan

You can take it off and pound on it with a bfh, I've done that a couple of times. Also, you might try putting it in your rear jate ring and using leverage bend it back to straight. Probably will need some help from another person or slide a big pipe over it for leverage. Of course, once you get the rear links straight you will probably have an alignment issue in the other direction.

Also,
Check your front and rear track rod. Your rear is very suseptable to damage because of the dampner getting caught on rocks. You can use the same method for straightening that too. Of course I am a hack but I have had to do these things in the feild.

You can jump through hoops or buy my old link in perfectly straight condition. How's about $40 plus shipping?
