We have confirmed with JVC Norway that most newer PAL DVD players will play back an NTSC DVD. They were able to play back the DiscoWeb DVD's on a PAL system without any issues. The DVD's are zone free, burned on Verbatim DVD-R. We also have reports that the DVD's have played back fine in Turkey and Greece. We thought we should pass this info along, in case any overseas visitors are interested in ordering a DVD. You should of course check your player for DVD-R compatability before ordering, whether ordering from overseas or domestically. A compatiblity chart can be found at: http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php We have not tested the DVD's under SECAM. NOTE: NTSC VHS tapes will NOT play back on a PAL system. |
