Do those that have these like them or are they pretty worthless? I have seen several cheap models from Actron and others for about $150 or so. Can you 'clear' the codes as well as read the generic codes with these models? I would love to have a kick ass Snap On code reader, but $2-3K is not my budget. Actually this will be an x-mas gift. So any of you with these small handhelds with any input would be be appreciated. And I don't have a Palm Pilot, so don't mention the software for them. I would love to do that, but again that is out of my budget. I just need something to give me the codes and a way to clear them out. Thanks!!! |

Harbor Freight has one for $50, I don't know if it can clear them or not. |
