Mine appear to be leaking. Can I just drop the cap and replace, or is it more complicated with main seal, etc? |

Anyone know this one? I really want to stop this oil leak if possible, even though dropping the pan again is a definate PITA. |

Its a Pita , ut you can do it... Pan and rear main cap dropped. You have to be carefull with the rear main seal when going back together , taking care to see that its in the bore straight. Kyle |

Hmmm, may not be worth risking the rear main seal. Its a very slow leak. I'll watch it for a couple of months to be sure the cross seals have had it. Thanks for your post. |
