I got the stupid thing back together and then I lost one the switch part that actually controlls the switch. does that make any sense? I'll try again....there are two plastic switch "levers". the bottom one moves the seat forward and back the top one, the one I lost moves the back of the seat forward and back. Anyway, I tried to test my repaired seat switch without the lever and I broke the post. Wondering if that part is availible. I am sure that i am not the only one to do this, I have it glued with jb weld but i don't have confidence that it will hold. If anyone has experience with a lr seat switch part thingy source please let me know. My bragging has caught up to me. I was dancing around happy as a lark and bragging to my wife how i just saved us about $180. and my head got to big. And then snap! .uck, .uck .uck! Talk about a downer. Now I am sitting here looking at my switch all back together and freshly welded minus the top lever thing. The problem now is that I really, really want to "test" it again just to see if it will hold. It is within my grasp and I just want to jiggle that thing....just a little bit. You know, to see if it will hold. I think I am a little ill. |
