97disco with RS9000's. I have ordered OME HD springs(fr&rr). I read that the springs will give me about 2" lift. Will this be sufficient for 265/75/16? Trimming is not a big issue, however, less is more to me. I have read thru the archives, but can't seem to find a good enough answer. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Andy |

I run 265/75s on my truck, but i also trimmed. you might be able to get away with Kyle's method of Fender Relocation. Check out the tech section. Kyle do you have the answer? |

Thank you. A straight forward answer. I am stuck on whether to go with a 15x7 steel wheel so I can run a MT. Or just go with an AT on stock rim. Majority of travel is on pavement, so I need to keep the nice ride on road. However, I need a tire that will give me the offroad traction I desperately need. I found AMerican Racing wheels for $45 a piece. Will these come with the same offset as the stock rim? Andy |

Andy, I had some 265/75/16 BFG A/Ts for a few months, I trimmed very little. Strangely, the little that I trimmed was perfect on the driver side. The other side is a mess. Had I done Kyle's trick, I would have saved myself from now having to do the 'Camel cut'. Javier |

Why do you have to get 15" wheels to run a MT? There are plenty of 265/75/16 MTs. |

I'm worried that a MT will be too rough for all the pavement driving. If I get a set of steels, then I can put MTs on them, and run my stock rims on the road with ATs. Or I can just put ATs on stock rims, and leave it at that. I'm racking my brain trying to find the best route to go. Andy |
