I have a 95 D1. Cruise, rear wiper and remote mirrors are not working. All are on the same fuse (10 amp) but, the fuse is not blown. Is there a secondary fuse that controls these? any ideas what to check? |

I have had this problem on my '95 LWB as well. Sometimes things work great, other times they don't. But when the power seats don's work, neither do the Cruise Control or the mirrors. I was fearing a short somewhere, but there has to be a more logical explanation. They must all tye into the same relay, or fuse or somethings. Larry |

Update, took the Rover to a mech last night, right side of the #13 fuse (the one that controls all these) is dead. Left side is ok. Tried the connections in the back (removed the block, sort of) and all seem to be tight. Is there a common ground for these three some where or something we're not checking? He "jumped" the fuse as a temporary fix but I would like to track down the problem. Any ideas? Lucas was a homicidal maniac. |

there's a multi-switch box located under the dash near the sterring column that can affect all that. my '97 had all kinds of problems till it was replaced. my windshield washer motor still doesn't work though. |

Mantaray, Do you have any more info on the box. Maybe exactly what it does or what it is called? This way we can look into this a little further. Also, not positive that the '97 Disco's are the same as the '95 D1 and LWB's. It is possible. Never the less thanks for the input. Larry |

Your MFU (MultiFunctionUnit) might be bad... i reciently had a windshield wiper issue that was diagnosed as a bad MFU (turned out it wasnt) anyway i did some investigation and it turns out the MFU is responsible for a lot of stuff... Parts of the alarm, Auto dimming interior lights, door locks, rear washer, etc... its in the compartment under the steering wheel... open the compartment. on the left hand side you will see a fuse block. the fuse block is held in place by two bolts. unbolt that pull out the fuse block, the MFU attaches to the back of the fuse block.... unfortuantely its solid state (IC chips) so unless you take it to a dealer/LR shop im not sure how you can test it... i know my local LR shop (not dealer) had some sort of tool for reading it... it should be aprox $160 +/- for the part.. |

Where are the relays for the Power Seats and Mirrors. I don't have the manual for the '95, only the '90 and I suspect they are different. Larry |

Where does the cruise control vacuum hose that goes through the firewall go? Thanks, Eric |
