Have 96 D1 w/70k. Checked codes. Says Idle control system circuit shorted (P1509). Doesn't start without pumping gas. Checked plugs. OK. Checked distributor. OK. Checked wires. OK. What the hell is wrong with the "Idle Control System" and what/where is that anyway? Hell!! Itty-bity ticked off... |

sounds like its telling you your idle air motor has taken a dump! search idle air control and stepper motor over on the left under keyword I think theres a step by step somewhere on it. |
