How much would anyone in here pay for a Disco 2 rear bumber? I am looking to sell one but I need a reasonable price for this hard to find piece! Thank, Glen

The stock plastic one?

Or is it a aftermarket one?

It is the stock one with the "land rover" logo on the back. Color is black.

I would be willing to pay about 10 bucks for it if you are close enough for me to pick it up. I wouldn't take it for free if I had to pay shipping. Not to say that it is a bad bumper. I have been trying dilligently to destroy mine, and have thus far been unsuccessful. I have even had a corner twisted and bent up 90 degrees and it just popped right back.

Good luck

What is "hard to find" about a stock rear bumper?

Glen,

Not a problem. I aim to please. You may want to try Ebay. People will buy anything on Ebay.

Maybe it's "Hard to find" a straight rear bumper off a truck that someone want's to sell it off of... Mine? When I took it off i knew it was already junk!

Keith,

You must have a D1 with metal bumper. The D2's is a very flexible plastic that will likely last a long time. They are hard to find used, but new, they are really cheap.

Wow,

I had no idea that my used DII bumper was soooo rare, I better go get it out of the dumpster before the trash man comes.

BTW Anyone know when the Antiques Road Show is coming to Denver next? I need to get this "hard to find" bumper appraised ASAP so I can insure it for its true worth. Do you think I should clean off the red Moab dirt or will that devalue it?
