My rear cargo door on my 99' Series I leaks on top really bad. If I go through a car wash, the water just pours in. The seals seem to be in good shape. I am worried the leak will ruin my rear subs on my back door. Anyone??? |

I was having the same problem, I would suggest adjusting your striker and the striker plate first, see if it helps, then if yours is like mine and it didnt, then get some of that weather stripping, like from Home Depot, and run it along your door(the door not the jam) around the top and down to where the metal splits in the jamb, leave your door shut for a few days to insure the stick, and you should be good to go, doesnt look too bad either, the only other suggestion I would have would be to adjust your hinges or bend the top of your door in a bit...either one is a bithch... Good luck!!! |
