I got some additional cup holder today for my 95 disco. They are the ones that are now standard on the new Discoverys, they hold larger cups and such, with one each side of the consule. I was wondering if there is a certian place I should put them on the consule area, or if it really did not mattered where they go.
Thanks
Chris

Well by the looks of the photos in the new Disco wish book (yes I had to order the latest from LR to drool over those unscathed D2s) the cup holders are just attached to the front end of the console (see below)

They look cool. Is there a site where these are available online somwhere?
Thanks

They look goofy but I'm not one for cup holders anyway.

www.roverconnection.com has them in stock, about 50 for the pair...

I have some and love them. Just make sure that you get them level and the you center them between the dif-lock and gear shift handles. If you put it to close to the dif-lock handle it will make it difficult to lock into 4 low and it's to close to the shifter then it makes it odd to push in the shift release button.

The D2 has a taller shift handle than the D1 so its not a problem.

Also, make note of your knee position when mounting the driver side one, and make note of the cigar lighter position when mounting the passenger side one. I have trouble plugging some things in to my cigar lighter because of the cup holder.

Also, on a D2, I think the ABS wiring runs underneath the console, so be careful when screwing them in.
