My darling wife got me a Safarigard rear bumper for Christmas. This, however presents some problems. I pull a trailer quite a bit and I need both the LR connector and the aftermarket connector (controls trailer brakes). And I also want to put a CB antenna on one side and my IPF backup light on the other. (I dont have a safari rack). My questions are this.... 1. Has anyone ever cut the SG bumper to put the trailer connectors in? 2. Should I mount the connectors to the face of the bumper or fab some sort of access door to them? 3. Is there gonna be enough room for my IPF backup light on the drivers side of the bumper? 4. Anybody wanna buy a factory bumper??? HA HA |

How are you going to tow with the $G bumper? The reciever has a pin that enters from the top and not from the side like most hitches do. Or did you get the hitch that uses the factory hitch? |

I have a similar question. I was thinking of getting one of those tow jaws as a rear recovery point/ tow hitch but I have a SG rear bumper as well. Will the tow jaw not fit? Is it better to just get a couple of good shackles? |
