i have a 95 disco that i tried to put my kenwood cd player in and when i cut the factory wiring harness my dome lights quit working and my clock went out i have checked all the fuses and even rewired my factory headunit but to no avail. now all it does is blink if the dome lights are turned on and the clock resets at the same time. i have had a couple different people look at it and they are just as puzzeled as i am if anybody knows what to do please let me know |

I do not have any ideas but try to contact East Coast Rovers, Mike is the owner. They built my D1 as a project and tried to install an aftermarket CD. They ran into all sorts of problems and ended up keeping the a new stock. After what they went through they maybe able to help |

I had a Sony MP3 put in my 95 by Bestbuy and have been seeing battery drain while ignition off ever since. I can pull the trailer light fuse and the drain goes away. Indicates an unswitched short I guess. Try pulling fuses while a little test light is hooked on the pos battery side between post and cable. Bright lite is a problem. Slight glow is ok. I'm about to have the radio removed by Bestbuy to check. BTW, when this fuse is out I lose the clock memory, dome lights and radio! What wire did you "cut" to get the constant hot for memory? |
