If by some odd chance you broke the molly off a sunvisor clip while in the process of replacing sunroof rails then this is for you. On the sunroof rails, the old ones, there is a plasic stop in the track at the rear end. Remove the screw, pinch the back side together with a pliers and push it out. This is your new visor clip molly. Push it into the square visor clip hole. Before you can use the clip with this molly you have to remove the remaining molly stud flush with the base perimeter. This is a 1 minute operation on a belt sander. The clip can now be screwed into the molly. Also save the stop off the other track and stash it in the ash tray just in case. |
