Someone posted over on EE that the '02 Kalaharis come in Borrego yellow, Moulton (sp?) orange, and Bonatti grey. I've seen several yellow ones on the 'net, but no orange or grey ones. Can anyone offer any insight? Local dealerships are clueless, and LRNA's website doesn't mention the Kalahari at all. thanks! |

I "think" that should 'molten orange', as in the glow that comes when metal is heated until molten....

They also just sold a white one so the Kalahari package can be applied to a range of colored trucks. Chris von C |

what exactly is the complete Kalahari package? Rock sliders, ugly wheels, and a useless brush bar? |

We have one at our dealership( Land Rover Knoxville). Its yellow and surprisingly expensive.(41K) What I cannot figure out, though, is why they chose to build up an SE model, which starts right at 37000 dollars. Many of the paid- for features are lost in the Kalahari package, such as the front fog lights and the leather seats and wood trim inside. Also, i heard through the grapevine that the kalahari models from the factory come with the shitty sound system. Why pay for leather and then get cloth? Its beyond me. If you want a workhorse buy an SD and outfit it yourself--The six grand you'll save will go a lot farther...AND yes, the 41Grand was for an SE 5 seater w/o ACE or rear air. NO CD changer either... -Will |
