In an LR offroad course we did we were told that whenever driving in the dirt or on surfaces where there is enough slip then use diff lock to ensure better traction for all wheels. I do not live in a country with snow but have visited some. It seems often that there are patches of snow and then the road surface suddenly gets traction where there is no snow. If this does happen you would have to immediately slow down and tkae the car out of diff lock to avoid a lock up condition. If it is snow all the way then I would use the diff lock. www.worst4x4.freeservers.com |
