Whats the stock window tint percent?
Are the Safari windows tinted? What about the driver and front passenger windows? |

I don't know but its very low. Everyting except the front two windows (and windshield -duh) is tinted. Keep in mind not all discos have come stock w/ tint though. |

On my 94 ES, all the glass (aside form the w/screen) has a slight tint. If its the same as most other tinted glass (ie the tint is in the glass, not a film over it) it will be about 5%.
My Sun Rooves(?!) however have a rather tasty reflective greeny gold hue which as far as I can tell is a film on the glass.
I need to actually tint the whole thing cause with all that glass and our bastard hole in the ozone layer here in Perth (that Im sure my thirsty V8 wouldnt contribute to in ANY way!) its like a goddam greenhouse in there. And has anyone ever looked up the price of a replacement roller blind for under the sunroof?! Dont. It wont help your trucks cause as a valued member of you family...  |

Im going in tomorrow to get my windows tinted and I just want to get it to look as close to stock/standard Rover tinting as possible. I dont want it to look like I had aftermarket tinting done. That is why i was asking about the tint %. Do Discos tint the alpine windows? Is there any tint on the front driver & passenger windows? |

Teh alpine windows distorta little bit and to be honest Ive never been able to tell if theyre tinted or not. Like I said, in mine, ALL except the windscreen has a tint in it and the jury is still out on the alpines. Im going to get my alpines tinted regardless though.
Lemmee egt this straight, youre off to get your windows tinted but you want it to look stock? Woudnt it therefore already be exactly what you want or did you for some reason have to replace all your glass? |

alpine windows are tinted the same as the rest. |

Well I got mine back and the windows are done. I think they did 15% on all the back windows and alpine. Looks pretty good. |
