I am taking apart a SAAB 9000 and it looks like the door lock solenoids are identical to what is used on the Disco I. Made by Hella, this would give us another junkyard source for parts and SAAB stuff can be had CHEAP on the internet. I will also check out some of the relays and other stuff that looks similar. believe it or not, the power steering pump looks like a match too.... ZF & Hella supply most Euro manufacturers so this should not be a surprise. I will get together a list of compatibles for the tech site. |
