Well you can get what is probablly a better lift for cheaper from John @ rovertym (www.rovertym.com). I don't have any experience w/ it but I know Blake Luse (muddyrover) is running it and I believe a few others around here might have it on as well.

Corey-

Never having installed a body lift kit myself, my statements here might be a bit inaccurate.

From what I have seen, a body lift achieves greater clearance if you're interested in fitting larger tires or getting the lifted look without some of the possible problems associated with a suspension lift (driveline geometry problems being one of the biggest).

The ebay posting made no mention of the product's manufacturer and that should be a top concern. Rovers have enough problems without fitting questionable parts that may compound the problem (such as the MAR Freelander). But $279 is pretty darn expensive for a 2" Body Lift from an unknown manufacturer.

If you're really interested in a body lift, I suggest you visit www.rovertym.com. John Bradley Smith has been manufacturing a body lift for a little while now and his products are always of superior quality and excellent customer service - not to mention that his 2" body lift is $215.

Good Luck and let us know if you do install one.

I think that the guy on ebay is just selling a body lift that he bought from John since he copied John's website write up.. Either way, I would call up John at Rovertym and order it from him. Cheaper and you know who made it.
