So I'm really stuck. For Christmas I was lucky enough to receive a set of FACOM combination wrenches and a socket set. Now I don't now what to do with them. I can see using them on the bimmer after it's been washed but I don't know if I can let these beautiful tools touch that greasy, dirty Landy? Maybe I'll just buy a felt-lined silverware chest and keep them in there under lock and key. What's a guy to do? grin. |

Buy some Hazet and Heyco sockets and screwdrivers. Then buy some nice Knipex pliers, wire cutters and such. Then head to Griots and get one of those nift toolboxes to store it all in. (Note: My GF bought me a Griot's Garage toolbox for Xmas to store my Facom/Hazet/Heyco tools in, and yes I wrench the Rover with them) |

Too cool.. the internet makes the world such a smaller place. Always looking for more tools. I used to do my own stuff on the BMW and my Crapsman worked good. I remember getting a set for Christmas from my ex. (sigh) I have switched to higher quality cause there is no substitute and I didn't know any better. The owning a Disco sure is a new experience. Like the gentlemen who posted "I fixed something now something else broke" HA. Anyways.. see ya around the boards... |
