Riadiator Concerns with 96 4.0 Discovery

Author Message   Brad_N Posted on Tuesday, December 31, 2002 - 05:24 pm:    When checking the oil, I notice a very fine red/rust color substance coating some of the hoses near the water pump. I inspected the raidiator(engine side) In several spots the red/rust color substance was adhered to the the raidiator. In particular the substance was on the fins. It looks like rust. I never seen this before on a raidiator. Has any one seen this before?
