could be a dirty connection in the switch , try to jiggle it a little or spray it out with a can of compressed air, if it's still under warranty though your ok.

I have taken the switch apart to clean the contacts. Be careful and watch all the ball bearings so they don't get lost (they assist in the rocking of the switches). It can takes some patience to assemble - but it saved me $160 for a new switch!!!

I had to jiggle mine for two days to get it to contact. Exact same thing, though. I couldn't get it to sit forward.

Ask garrett about taking the switch apart....

:)

Yeah, though, it's VERY likely that it's the switch....

yes please do!!! :) i still have an APB out on a spring that went flying somewhere in my office. my 3 year old niece may have found it though. have to check and see if it is the right size one.
i had just taken it apart then rob d. posts a link to a great site that shows how it is done. pretty easy to do once you see how it all works. just clean up the switches and it worked great.
i think nathan has the best deals on the switches if you really need a new one.
for some reason i don't see that bookmarked. if you (or anyone else) needs a link to those pics let me know and i am sure rob can repost.
