I have a 2000 DII SD7, I love the truck but I hate. Its a nightmare. I have had to change my radiator three times god damn it, I get a metal to metal grinding noise when I take right turns, and everything rattles inside dashboard seats you name it. I am wondering at what price I can sell it at and if I should sell it at the dealer or at some used car dealer.

Alas, you have regrettably lost the Zen force that allows us to put up with the "personality" of a Rover product.
Sounds like you need a Toyota-the new 4Runner is due soon. Perhaps even a Nissan although unlike the Toy, I wouldn't take the Pahtfinder off road.
Prepare yourself for a shock when you get trade values on your rover. Private sales are best, but you must be prepared for nut cases and shut-ins that are not serious buyers or worse, axe murderers. When selling vehicles I have found the kbb.com, edmunds, and nada.com sites pretty accurate. Values will vary based on your area etc. good luck, and bing your own lube .
I feel bad for you but honestly LR's can really be crap sometimes.

What about the warranty on your 2000 D2? Why haven't these issues been addressed by your dealer? Who is your dealer? Please relay your dealer experience to us all and perhaps some good will come of it.

warranty, schmoranty. I'm with Kris, who wants to go and have some passive-agressive service writer go through your list of troubles one by one and tell you that they are normal. (Which they would with your rattles). They may be willing to take a swing at your grinding noise though.
In reality, when you are "over" a truck, that's pretty much it. Dump it.

See the dealer has changed the radiator and its still under warrenty but I am thinking of what will happen after the warrenty has past. Then I got pay thousands for the POS. Hell no, Chevy Silverado here I come. The trade in values suck. WHY??!!

well, JJ Kris paid for that warranty. Screw the passive aggressive shit - lose the "passive" and get aggresive with the dealer so they honor their warranty on their product. Unless you're afraid of a little confrontation and you can afford to simply "get over and dump" a $25+k investment....

Kris - you posted while I was writing that last one. If the dealer is at fault here and refuses to fix the real problem and just treats the symptoms, then get yourself an attorney and really stick it to them. Sounds like you may have a dealer-maintained lemon. Return the Disco and demand a refund or a replacement. You don't have to retain an attorney for umpteen thousands, either - you have to know one or two that can help you out...they're everywhere....

The trade in values suck WHY??!!

because you have a big, heavy, slow, gass guzzling "sport utility vehicle"

and Chevy Silverado ain't gonna make you happy,

Didn't say they suck, just don't think you'll be happy settling on a silverado if a discovery was your first choice (I have a disco and 2 silverados). They are entirely different vehicles.
