have any of you guys heard of either of these? I have seen Wipacs before but know nothing about either. I have seen them for pretty reasonable prices on some UK sites, but want to know if they are cheap as in bad or cheap as in inexpensive. Thanks for any help.

They're an OEM kind of light company. They make the replacement headlight buckets for Series Rovers, driving lights, etc. Think along the lines of KC....

Not bad, but not what most people around here would bother with.....

IMHO, YMMV.....

Nathan Crabtree ([email protected]) of Discount Rovers carries (or used to carry) the Wipac lights. They are very well built for the money and look like they will hold up to a lot of abuse. The casing is some sort of steel and the base plate is a high quality chrome. They put out 100 watts each.

Thanks,

I've got a set of 'Rings' on the front of my Disco. I wouldn't say they were the best set of spots in the world in terms of quality, though I think that is reflected in the price - but regardless, they're bloody bright !!

I got them through MM 4x4 - www.mm-4x4.co.uk - really great people to deal with and seem like reasonable prices too.
