Hello everyone...
I have a VIN # for a potential special RR. I remeber that there was a site on the Net that we can find the details of the VIN #, can anyone please tell me the address of the site...thanks in advance,

good, I was afraid that the Gil's would be outnumbered by the Garretts....a majority of Garretts can only lead a total breakdown of society as we know it :)

its from "i have no clue", since it has a plate stating it is a V8 diesel, when it has a V8 petrol...
its VIN is:
SALLHAMM8JA622899
can that help?

defintely not a north american VIN.. carfax.com may be of help... but i think they are North american to, so I dont if that will pull it up either. good luck

The RR may be one out of 8 that LR tested the V8 diesel in the late '80s, so that is what i want to find out...
anyone has a clue on how to find out more?

Maybe it's been replaced???

Like gil said, try carfax.com. They'll tell you if it's been in a shop for replacement.

My bet is that someone liked the look of the "Land Rover V8 diesel" plaque.
