Wont accelerate over 70 miles an hour even with pedal floored.

Whole car shakes when cruise control is put on.

SRS Light on

Sometimes RPMs drop so low the car dies when idling or in reverse.

Rough Idle. RPMs Jump every where

And most importantly there is a dead fly sandwiched inbetween the pelxiglass and my gauges.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Dealership is backed up for 2 months

I am replacing the spark plugs and All I need to do to fix the srs light is to clear the code. But How?

Model, Year, Engine? Need some basic data here please?

Look for a vacuum leak somewhere- breather hose, vac line to cruise control, vac line to fuel pressure regulator (favourite), power brake line, heater control vac line, Vacuum advance line, charcoal canister purge line to plenum etc. What general condition - all filters ok (air, gas)? Ok when cruise not on? Also air leaks from inlet manifold gasket can play havoc with idle - usually accompanied by oil leak from front or rear under inlet.

Alternator?

Each of these issues could be related to low battery voltage and related ECU confusion.

What is the status of your battery and alternator?

Many of my truck's similar problems went away with the secondary battery.
