Hey all,
Start things off I have a '97 DI SD.I just did my spark plugs and wires. I had to leave the ground plug to the battery unplugged for about and hour or more. I reconnected the ground and reset the the alarm/central lock. The radio however does not come on. I checked the fuse. The radio is not showing code or anything. The light that would normaly blink on the radio does not blink when the alarm is armed. The alarm/locking/lights all work. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jeremy Katka

Here is a question. Is there a fuse on the back of the unit or somewhere on the power line to the radio but after the fuse on the panel by the drivers knees? Is there an easy way to get the radio out or will I have to take it to a shop?

There is a fuse on the back of the radio. I was going to post that last night, but I figured you checked that fuse (in addition to the one in the main fuse panel.) :)

You just need to unscrew the radio from the dash.
On my 97, I had to use a tiny allen key to get the radio out. There are 2 tiny holes , one on either side of the radio face. I don't remember the key size you need, but you can go to home depot and get a ring of allen keys for less than $1, and the right size one is on there.

Good luck. :)
