Any folks hit the middle cross member on their DII? Here I am straddling rocks, placing them underneath me to avoid hitting the front diffs. Going along good until, smash!!, I hit something.
Oh crXX!! I thought I took out a diff or drive shaft or something. But no, just bashed the cross member which happens to be almost as low as the front pumpkin. Who the hell put that thing there and why is it so low!?? Just another thing I need to protect.

Emilio its there to protect your cats / exhaust system from being ripped off. Saved my ass once too. I don't think you need to protect it.
