OK, I've replaced pads twice with aftermarket parts and the brakes still squeak. This doesn't bother me as much as it bothers my wife but I would like the squeak to stop. In this case, the pads sqeak at low speeds (under 30mph) and stop when the brake is applied. I'm thinking about replacing the rotors and putting new pads on again - does anybody have a good recommendation for what rotors-pad combination to use? I was thinking about the cross cut and drilled rotors since I have had some trouble with overheating when pulling my boat. What is the secret for quiet brakes? If I have to, I'll go back to LandRover original parts.
Thanks for any help,
Larry

A lot of people swear by the LR-genuine pads as the way to elminate squeaks.

Whateve brand, make sure you are using some form of anti-squeal backing treatment on your pads.
