Hello,

I am a Disco I Owner from Germany and I saw on your site the sway bar quick disconnectors, which are still not marketable in Germany.

Unfortunately I understand the function not completely. Is ist possible to leave the released sway bar at the frame (and fix it) or should it be completely screwed off?

Thanks a lot and kind regards from Germany

Chris

Hi Chris,

Yes, I leave the sway bar still connected to the frame. I just use the quick disconnects at the axle and swing the sway bar back and fasten it to the frame while off-roading. I use the Aedofab disconnects - you can contact Mike at [email protected] for a set ... I am very happy with mine.

Hi Murray,

thank you for your fast answer. The quick disconnects seems to be a really ingenious idea.

I hope, Mike will deliver to Germany ;-)

Hi Chris,

He delivered to Canada so I don't why see why he wouldn't deliver to Germany. Tom Pearson also posted some installation instructions on Discoweb for the disconnects - very straight forward, just need a 24mm socket and wrench. If you have any questions, let me know.

Murray
