The cabin lights on my 97 Disco blink whenever I open any door. The rear will stay on (no blink) if push the button, but then it won't shut off when I close the door. The front has three positions, OFF, Door Ajar, and ON. Well when it's in the Ajar position, it blinks too. When I'm looking for something in the back at night or just picking up a passenger and the light is blinking, it's quite annoying. Why does it blink like that - I CHECKED ALL THE FUSES, and they're all fine. |

How many times does the light blink? If it blinks 4 times, then shuts off, the dome light fuse is blown. How did you check the fuses, just visually, or with a multimeter? If it blinks more than 4 times, you have another problem. Can you turn on the front light with the switch, too? |

It's more than 4 times, and yes I can turn the front one on with the switch. I checked the fuses visually. I don't have a multimeter. But since it's at the shop now - it may get fixed. I'm the same Patrick that got hit by the Civic two days ago. |
