Did all Disco's come with 24 spline rear axles?

I thought that early ones had 10 but I did the rear brakes/rotors on our '94 and today and when I pulled the axles it had 24 splines. (well...its still does ;-)

All NAS discos have 24 splines front and rear. They shared the same 10 splines as the Range Rover, but both were converted to 24 spline before the disco debuted in the states. So pre-93 discos are 10 spline.

Ron,
By integral you mean the axle and the flange are one piece? I assume I can still change to somehting like GBR or Ashcroft axles and some 24 spline flange.

Thanks...

axle and "drive member" in rover speak are one piece. If you go to GBR or ashcroft you get a seperate drive flange

Aha. Didn;t know that. I have not pulled mine yet and the only one I pulled was on a D90 - 10 spline with separate axle flange...err...drive member. Thanks.
