The rim you want is $350. I don't think there are any on here who want to swap for a <$100 one.

Jose, have you tried Rover Cannibal or any other Rover wrecking yards?

It's all about supply & demand, Patrick! I traded my steelie for a $350 castor alloy no problemo.

Jose,

a while ago Ho suggested me to ask Charles at Rover Accessories for steelies - he had very decent steel wheels made by Unique for $75 a pop. I am very happy with them since. A full set will cost you less than one alloy.

One word of caution - they have about 1/2" different offset, so while 235/85 should fit fine, 245/75s will rub (on a D1, that is, I guess that's what you have looking at your wheel's bolt pattern).

here's how they look

Simon: Thanks how are things going. I have visited Mike' site discocrazy but I have not seen any current pics of your rig.

Simon, I still miss Florida. I've been wheeling with a great bunch of guys and it is making the transition more enjoyable...... make sure you exercise the Disco otherwise it gets lazy...say to the guys in FL.

yeap... the guys at central and north florida do a lot of wheeling but no one does crap in the south that I know of... so if I have the urge I either go to the same lame south florida trails I know or I try to go 4 hours north to meet the guys in central Florida (only once so far)....
hopefuly more...

anyways I guess I miss the mountains...

thanks!

Simon
