When storing for extended periods of time (i.e. up to a year) what sort of advice do you have.
I was planning on stabilizing the gas (what products are best?), putting it up on blocks in the garage, and disconnecting the neg battery terminal. I would replace all fluids before re-roading. I'm not under the impression that fogging the cylinders or draining the fuel really adds that much in a practical sense.
Theoretically, it shouldn't be that different than "winterizing" a boat (which is good for quite some time).
Has anyone stored their rover?

I'd disconnect the battery, take some air out of the tires, and put jackstands under the axles to take the load off the tires.

Lots of mouse poison! the little critters will find there way in and make great nests of sound insulation and wiring makes for a great gnawing stick, And some glue traps on top of the tires. not inside, poison outside and a bit in.

Our Disco sat for about two months without moving and all of the brake piston seals started leaking once I moved it. The calipers were probably due for new seals anyway, but something to keep in mind if its going to sit for a year.

Transmission and engine notes: pickle them both !
Drain then fill crankcase w/15 or more qts oil. Fill it as you ordinarily do, keep on fillin' it until you can't add any more. This prevents moisture/rust forming. To 'do it right', remove the exhaust manifolds, fit blanking plates-use the ex gasket as a pattern-then fill the cylinders-all full-to prevent rings seizing to cyl walls. Uninstalled but fresh AIRCRAFT engines are pickled, literally,in drums, until use. Your truck deserves the same.

Trans: same thing, fill it to overflowing. I parked a Benz 5 yrs, seals dried out(without doing this) drove <10 miles, trans let go....

Water/coolant pockets issue needs to be
considered too....
