I am looking to lift my Disco about 2-3". Does any one have a good recommendation on springs, shocks and tires that will give a relatively comfy ride (compared to stock) and provide the hight i need as well as all that other good stuff.

The main goal is to not end up with a ride that feels like a, pardon my french, JEEP. I like to be able to ride the road and trails w/o getting severe whiplash or smashing my head into the windows.

Thanks
Any ideas on tire sizes or other needed mods to go with?

the 235/85/16 or the 265/75/16 are the 2 most popular sizes for discos. Check the gallery on this site or the tech link. most everyone runs that size and they seem to do fairly well. you will probably need a front cv style driveshaft, heavy duty links, new shocks, steering components. You can do just the springs and shocks and go from there. I would suggest trying to ride with somebody local and check the mods they've done to see if the ride is suited to your taste. Also call john at rovertym, he's more than happy to answer questions.
