recently my D2 developed a bit of a hip-up. when i idle, u can feel the engine stumbling, just slightly, enough to make u feel as if the car is vibrating from a over bearing subwoofer. when i start driving either on the street or the freeway, the car feels as if it looses power for a second and returns. it's on acceration only. when driving slow up hill, the car jerks, as if i'm tapping the accerator. i changed the spark plugs thinking that the plugs were bad, but that did nothing to improve it. all the fluids have been changed, and that did not solve it either. could it be bad spark plug wires?....stuck valves? if anybody have any suggestions let me know before i go to the dealer next week. |

could be the wires..i just had the same problem..it showed up after i replaced the driver side exhaust manifold gaskets. apparently while doing this i loosened up the rear spark plug wire so that it was not on solid..shoved back on real good and the problem went away...also an exxhaust leak in the manifold or around the cats can cause this problem as well.. |
