When I lock my doors with my kewless remote, the rest of the locks engage but the driver's door does nothing. I must then use the key in the door to manually lock said door. The same thing happens when I attempt to unlock the rover with the remote, and again, I have to manually unlock my door.

Is there an easy fix to this problem?

Lotsa WD40 into the mechanism.

Chase:
Before suggesting a solution, I need some more information.
When you use the key, or the inside knobs to lock the door, does the driver's door lock?

If it does lock with the key or the knobs, you may have a problem with the BECU. Or, if it does lock correctly when you use the key or the inside knob, and when you use the remote, the actuator chatters at you, it could be a lock mechanism in dire need of lubrication (I use WD-40 and white lithium grease). If, however, when you use the remote to lock and you hear no noise, it could be either the actuator or the BECU. To some extent, you can isolate the BECU from the actuator by using a volt meter or test light to verify that the connections to the actuator go high (+12v). If the actuator supply wires do not go high when you try to lock the doors, your BECU is not telling that actuator to lock.

I went around and around with this very same issue and bought a bunch of parts I didn't need. Since then, I've found the most common problem to be mechanical, rather than electronic or electromechanical.

Good luck.

Pretty much same thing happens to me, but only about 50% of the time, sometimes it works, sometimes not. I find opening and slamming the door shut again usually cures it !

Think it just needs a good lube.
