I'm going to go off-roading with my dad next Saturday for our first time, and i was wondering what do i need to bring and get?

A cell phone, and warm clothes. A second truck would be nice, there is safety in numbers. A shovel is useful sometimes, and if you have a hi-lift and know how to use it, take it with you. The same goes for a hand winch. But most important of all, use common sense. If you get into water or mud, know how deep or sticky it is before you dive in. You should also read the articles in the discovery section of this site before you head out, there are some good advice in there.

Thanks John and Axel, i'm going with 3 or 4 trucks on dry land, so i've got lots of help, and of course i'll have fun!
