I was driving into work this morning and had my front window defroster running on the highest setting (I think it's 4) when half-way to work, it stopped blowing air out. This is the first time this has happened. I shut the fan off and then turned it back on and it was fine. What could've caused it to stop blowing? Thanks! MaryB |

It's another one of those famously intermittent Land Rover electrics problems. For some reason, the blower doesn't like the '4' setting, several people have had the same problem. I just chalk it up as another "charming" oddity and only put my fan up to 3. Sorry that I can't help any more than that. |

Mine does the same thing, rarely though. Its just something Lucas does to keep us on our toes. I worry mine will go out on a hot summer day! Ive heard its an electrical connection to the blower assembly. |

Dealer replaced the switch (at great expense to the extended warranty) to cure this on our 95. John |

Move to Texas, we only need them 2 days out of the year. Last year winter was on a Tuesday! |

I've had the same problem with the fan switch on #4. "It's a Lucas thing." |
