I have a $G diff guard on the front of my truck, I haven't had any problems with it, but I am looking for a rear diff guard, and another front diff guard for my truck. My main reason is that I want something to protect the bottom too not just the front. Any suggestions?

What kind of wheeling do you do? Mud, Rocks? Southdown in the mud acts like a plow and will get you stuck quicker.

Thanks,

I can concur with the Southdown on the front. Not only does it get you bogged down it scoops mud up and for some reason isn't easily washed out. I just sold mine to the guy who bought my RR and plan on a SG setup up front with guards, damper relocation, etc.

I keep hearing how the Soutdown axle guard gets you stuck in mud, but I've been in a hell of alot of mud without this mysterious result.

I do have a problem in that I think it should be constructed of heavier gauge material because mine is fairly bent, but as far as doing what it is advertised, it works well.

Brad, there have been a lot of discussions about diff guards lately. You usually hear about bearmach, SG, AB, and Southdown or Rockware's pinion guard. One that doesn't get brought up much is QT Services. Not a lot of people have them installed yet so there aren't many folks that can vouch for them. I know at least 2 Discowebbers have ordered them recently though.

I got interested in them because I like to know all my options. They offer pinion protection and wrap around coverage of the front and rear diff. Here's a link to some pictures.
