Transfer gear box is VERY hard to shift unless engine is switched off, then its normal. All linkages have been checked OK. Any ideas what is going on here? Bill |

There is a solenoid in there to prevent you from shifting between high and low at high speed. Either it is going bad on you, or you have a short in the circuit controlling the solenoid. I had the same thing happen a couple of years ago. |
