I purchased a "genunie" brush bar for my d2. Took it to a land rover center to have it installed, and was told it would not fit. The seller, a merchant that I will not name, guarentees me that it is a genuine LR part, from LR Europe. The LR Center said the mounts are a hair to short to reach the mounting points on the frame. Anyone familiar with the differences between the LR Europe and American versions of the brush bar for the d2. Thanks, Tom |

If i had to guess, I would say that US DOT approved bumpers are bigger than the European counterparts. That would push the brushbar out just a little to far to install correctly. Like I said...just a guess. Curt |

Maybe the problem was that it was "genunie", and not "genuine".
