The brakes on my '96 Disco make me a little uneasy at times. While braking, if I hit a bump in the road, it feels like the brakes actually release for a quick moment. This is a little disconcerting as I approach the car in front of me Is this common? or are make brakes having hiccups that I should investigate more? Thanks! Jeremy |

It might be the ABS kicking on for a second as the wheel jumps up and less tire is contacting with the road allowing it to lock up. If it seems more severe, I would have it checked out. Tom |

Agreed about the ABS, However, are your Shocks blown? If they are then they cant control the movement of that heavy axle assembly and you'll have less traction with those tires after the bump. Just a though. l8r Todd |
