Still considering the Borla Cat back system, but don't know what it will sound like...
While driving in College Station, TX a few weekends ago, I happened upon a group of 3 Rovers (D90, and 2 classic Ranges). I noticed that at lease one had aftermarket exhause rumble!! First time to hear after market exhaust on a Rover in real life.
I want that sound, but I am sure he had a 3.9, so how would the sound compare to my 4.0? Common sence would tell me that my 4.0 would rumble the same if not more, but just figured I'd ask!!
Rover dude, if you are out there, pop in and let me know what system you have! |

4.0 and 3.9 are exactly the same as far as displacement is concerned. They won't sound any different. I have a 3.9 with aftermarket cats and a flowmaster muffler. Resonator has been removed. I like the sound, but it's probably a bit loud for most tastes.
