My brake pedal makes this weird creaking feeling when I depress it. Sometimes it also makes a light clicking noise. It only started a couple of months ago, but everything else is normal. What's going on? |

Hey, your brake pedal always makes a small click whenever you depress it... that is just the power brake system working. ALL cars do this, and your disco has always done it-- I promise. As for a creaking feeling i would suggest lubing up the brake mechanism with some wd-40. If that doesnt do the trick than take it to your dealership...brakes are important! Good luck.

Mine is doing that too. Sounds like a very soft creaking sound, not like a squeaking hinge, just a quiet rubbing. Definitely the switch, huh?
Does anyone have a better price than AB?

Well, it's always lightly clicked, but now it's getting louder and more noticeable...maybe I just think it's louder because of the creaking? I am taking more notice of it. I'll do the wd-40 thing...god knows I've got about 10 cans of it here.
