does anyone have a problem with the moonroof rattling when open. both of mine do!

Your problem is your moonroof guides.Mine were broken. Try to grease them first before replacing I took it to a garage cost me 400.

I just spoke with a Land Rover dealer and he told me it is common and I am covered under warranty until October for repair at no cost:)
Thanks for the input.....
I was also told that even if I do replace them or fix them it was sure to happen again within six months and to live with it..... so???

The best solution to your problem (and I know a number of people here will back me up), is to keep them shut!

Mine rattled, dealer said there was a campaign to fix the problem. They fixed it, sure enough, 3 years later, rattle is back. Only time I have mine open is on flat-top, closed when I am on the trails. I think it's one of those 'live-with-it' issues we all face with our Discos, unless you get creative and try something. To me, it is not worth my time to stop the noise, simply too many other things on the truck to attend to.

mine rattled about five minutes after LR did my fix - at least they got them to open and close reliably!
