I know that sounds like I'm just eatin' rice crispies, but when I turn left and brake, usually braking, there is an odd pop noise no unlike the sound when gravel is released from the tire tread at speed. Its rather disconcerting, as clunks, clonks, pops, shudders and shimmies often are...any ideas? Could this be the old shocks/springs going bad? |

Have all the suspension and steering bolts retorqued. I once had a metallic snapping sound underneath my Discovery. It was slightly loose panhard rod bolts. After retorquing, the sound was gone. |

Check the radius arm to axle bolts. Torque radius arm bolts to 145lb and panhard to 65lb |
