well, I went off roading last weekend and on the way home driving down the highway, whenever i would go between 65-75 mph, some part of the truck seems to go into harmonic resonance with the truck and massive vibrations starts. The whole truck vibrates and the steering wheel vibrates back and forth rapidly about 1" to each side, at it's worst around 70 mph. Anyone have any idea what this could be? Brad |

You could have mud in your rims. That is the speed where an unbalanced tire will show itself. A big enough hunk of mud stuck inside the rim would cause the wheel to be unbalanced. |

Wow! That's exactly what i said and my dad told me there was no way that was true, and he's the real car expert. Haha. Yes, there is a lot of mud on the rims on the insides and my tires are thoroughly out of round/balance. I'll wash them off and give it a try! |
